Nora Moore Lloyd – Artistic Resume

Although she grew up in the Chicago area, Nora now divides her time between the city and her Wisconsin home where she is an enrolled member of the Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwe Nation.  Her varied background includes formal training in videography, radio & television production, surgical photography and partner in a graphic design firm.  Several years studying traditional still photography and darkroom technique at Evanston Art Center provided a sound foundation and appreciation for the art of classic photography.

Nora has been an active member of Chicago’s Native American community for many years on a volunteer basis in addition to serving as director on several community organization boards and committees. Her work has been shown at The Field Museum, Chicago History Museum, Illinois State Museum Gallery locations, Cahokia Mounds Museum and Trickster Gallery. She has also exhibited at Museo Nacional de Etnografia Y Folklore in Bolivia and Museo Nacional de Arqueologia & Etnologia de Guatemala.
